The OSCE representative on freedom of the media, Miklos Haraszti, called today for journalists' safe access to the two regions of Georgia, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, that are now controlled by Russian forces. They are selectively restricted to international, and Georgian, reporters, but Haraszti says: "Now that the armed conflict is over, it is time to grant full access for journalists". (Via OSCE)
