Without a new logo decided on, the Washington Football Team announced on Wednesday that they will have the NFL shield at midfield rather than the team’s former logo.
With that in the middle of the field, along with the “Washington Football Team, Est. 1932” wording in the end zone, we’ve got a good feel for what the field at FedEx will look like this fall for home games. The team released a rendering of it on social media Wednesday morning.
It’s still unclear when a new name or logo will be decided on, but don’t expect anything for at least the next year, and definitely not before this season is over.
