Report: Washington tackle Kaleb McGary visits the Texans

The Houston Texans will no doubt be looking for offensive line help in the April’s draft, and they may take such a player as early as the first round.

According to a report from Houston Chronicle Texans beat writer Aaron Wilson, the club brought in former Washington Husky Kaleb McGary for a visit.

With being a projected first-round pick, general manager Brian Gaine will most certainly consider drafting the former Washington tackle. If Gaine decides to draft McGary, it begs the question which tackles position will he be playing at either the left side or right side.

The feeling is Texans would move Martinas Rankins who was drafted in the third round of last years draft over to right guard and select a right tackle. Picking McGary at 23 could solve Gaines problem.

Houston has to improve the offensive line. Given that they sat on the sidelines and made a late splash in second-wave free agency with the signing of Matt Kalil, the Texans are almost obligated to use premium picks to fix the offensive line.
