Report: Warriors’ Steph Curry expected to miss multiple weeks with left leg injury

After securing a win over the Dallas Mavericks, attention quickly shifted to Steph Curry on Saturday night.

Late in the third quarter, the two-time Most Valuable Player exited the game and went to the locker room due to an injury. While playing defense, Curry collided with Mavericks’ guard McKinley Wright IV and appeared to injure his left leg.

Following his exit, the Warriors ruled him out for the remainder of the game with a lower leg injury. The Warriors announced Curry’s X-Rays were negative, but he’s slated for an MRI.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Curry is expected to miss multiple weeks with a left leg injury. No exact timetable has been specified for Curry’s injury status.
