After reportedly signing Brad Wanamaker and Kent Bazemore in free agency, the Golden State Warriors weren’t done making additions to their roster.
According to Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports, the Warriors are signing undrafted free agent wing Dwayne Sutton out of Louisville. Sutton will join Golden State’s rookie class that features No. 2 overall pick James Wiseman and second-rounder Nico Mannion.

After transferring from UNC Ashville in 2016, Sutton averaged 8.8 points on 46.2% shooting from the field with 6.6 rebounds and 1.3 assists in three seasons at Louisville.
As a senior in Chris Mack’s program, the 6-foot-5 wing matched his career-high from beyond the arc, averaging 35.4% on 2.6 attempts from long distance.

According to Connor Letourneau of The San Francisco Chronicle, Sutton will be invited to Golden State’s training camp with the chance to earn a two-way contract.

Former Louisville small forward Dwayne Sutton has been invited to Warriors training camp with the chance of earning a two-way contract, a league source confirmed to The Chronicle on Monday.
With limited depth on the wing in Golden State, the 22-year-old will likely compete with Juan Toscano-Anderson and Mychal Mulder for a spot behind Bazemore, Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr.
The addition of Sutton will move Golden State’s Louisville alum count to two. In his final season of college hoops, Damion Lee spent the 2015-16 season with the Cardinals, averaging 15.9 points on 42.8% shooting from the field with 3.9 rebounds and two assists per game.
