Vikings fans won’t be thrilled about this.
Preseason star and fan favorite Kyle Sloter won’t be a Viking for much longer.
Per Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, the Vikings plan on released Sloter if they can’t find a trade partner for him in the next two hours.
Sloter has played exceedingly well in the preseason for the last two seasons with Minnesota, but that doesn’t seem to have won over head coach Mike Zimmer.
The Vikings will carry Kirk Cousins and Sean Mannion at quarterback if they decide to part ways with Sloter.
