One player who has been linked to the Minnesota Vikings in multiple mock drafts has been Kansas State right tackle Dalton Risner.
There’s a reason why Risner is linked to the Vikings and that was confirmed by KSTP’s Darren Wolfson, who said that the Vikings interviewed Risner on Wednesday night at the Combine in Indianapolis.
Risner is known for his technique and he’s mature. He’ll be a 24-year-old rookie. In basketball, that would be a red flag, but that’s a positive in the football world.
It’s not a secret that the Vikings need help on the offensive line and Risner would go a long way to improve that unit.
He’s certainly a name to watch as the draft approaches.
