Report: Vikings hope to sign two tryout players

The Vikings have found plenty of talent in rookie classes beyond the NFL draft.

From Adam Thielen to Anthony Harris, Minnesota has developed undrafted free agents into starting-caliber NFL players.

This minicamp, the Vikings featured five tryout players, two of whom the team is looking to sign. As reported by Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press, Minnesota is hoping to sign CB Amari Henderson and T Evin Ksiezarczyk after the team’s minicamp.

Henderson, a cornerback out of Wake Forest, has a chance to make the roster after Minnesota traded Mike Hughes. However, with Patrick Peterson, Cameron Dantzler, Mackensie Alexander, Harrison Hand and others still on the roster, Henderson is unlikely to get a lot of reps.

Ksiezarczyk, a tackle out of Buffalo, could possibly be a depth offensive lineman, though Rashod Hill would likely be the first lineman up if Minnesota experienced any injuries on the exterior of the offensive line.
