Report: Vikings expected to discuss bringing back G Nick Easton

The 2018 season didn’t go according to plan for Vikings guard Nick Easton.

In fact after suffering a neck injury and undergoing surgery, Easton didn’t play a single game.

Easton has been medically cleared to play and is a free agent.

Per Chris Tomasson of the Pionneer Press, the Vikings are expected to have conversations next week to discuss bringing Easton back.

Easton, 26,  signed a one-year, $2.9 million deal last season and it feels like the Vikings could get him for a similar or discounted price.

The Vikings are desperate for offensive line help and Easton is certainly capable. Easton started 17 games from 2016 to 2017 with the Vikings, including 12 in 2017.
