Report: Trey Flowers will get $14 million to $17 million annually on next deal

New England Patriots defensive end Trey Flowers will earn big money when he signs his next deal, according to the Sun Sentinel’s Omar Kelly. Flowers will likely earn $14 million to $17 million annually when he signs his new contract, per Kelly.

If the Patriots can get Flowers at the bottom end of that range, it’s not unreasonable to think they would try to re-sign him. If he moves into the top of that range, it’s possible they’d let him depart.

Flowers finished 2018 with 57 tackles for 7.5 sacks. He was a key member in New England’s standout defense, which held the Los Angeles Rams to just three points in Super Bowl LIII. Flowers has never been a producer of statistics, but he has still made a reputation as one of the best defensive ends in the NFL.
