Report: Trade talk for Steelers WR Antonio Brown is heating up

It sounds like the Pittsburgh Steelers might be able to get wide receiver Antonio Brown traded sooner rather than later. According to NFL reporters Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport, interest in the eccentric wideout has really picked up steam and Schefter is reporting a deal is expected to be in place by Friday.

Several teams have reportedly shown significant interest in trading for Brown, including the Oakland Raiders. It makes sense for the Raiders to be interested in him, considering they have three first-round picks to use in a potential deal.

Rapoport is also reporting the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals have pulled out of the bidding. Having teams showing a strong interest is a great thing for the Steelers because that has to help with the asking price.

For all the odd behavior Brown has shown, he’s still one of the best wide receivers in the NFL and fans should be hopeful Pittsburgh can find a way to get a first-round pick for him in a trade. That way they can move forward with a fresh start.
