With the New England Patriots’ preseason Week 2 game just a few hours away, Mike Reiss of ESPN has reported that quarterback Tom Brady will not play in Saturday night’s game vs. the Tennessee Titans.
The 42-year-old played two quarters of football in last year’s second preseason game. He has yet to see any playing time in this year’s preseason.
Brady will get some rest and hopefully get a crack at playing in the third preseason game next Thursday night against the Panthers. Everyone watching is interested in seeing how the chemistry built with his new receivers will carry over to an actual game.
