Report: Tom Brady puts Brookline, Mass. home up for sale

UPDATE: The house is no longer listed as for sale on Zillow. However, it is still up on Soetheby’s website.

ORIGINAL STORY: New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady seems ready to move. He’s has listed his five-bedroom Brookline, Mass. home on Zillow.com, a real estate website, for $39.5 million, according to NBC Sports Boston.

The house, built in 2015, is located near the ninth hole of The Country Club, with features like a three-car garage, a gym, a spa, a guest house, a yoga studio and an outdoor organic herb and vegetable garden. The house has “generous fenestration” and the guest house has natural air circulation that provides “a Zen-like experience,” per Zillow.

Brady and Gisele had been house hunting in the Manhattan suburbs like Greenwich, Conn., and Alpine, NJ, according the New York Post,

Brady’s openness to leaving Brookline — and potentially the greater Boston area — comes with the Patriots quarterback signing a contract extension that isn’t really an extension. The new deal, which Brady and the Patriots finalized on Sunday, has two voidable years in 2020 and 2021. Essentially, Brady is set to enter free agency in 2019. He addressed the uncertainty during a meeting with the media on Monday.

“It is what it is,” he told reporters after a joint practice in Detroit. “That’s a good line, so whoever said it, it’s very pertinent. Like I said, there’s a lot of guys who have one year left on their contracts, so the situation — I’ve got one year to go, and we’ll see what happens.”
