In 87 career games (35 starts) over six seasons, Adams has amassed seven interceptions and 23 passes defensed. He has also spent time playing on special teams.

Adams was originally signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent out of UConn in 2016. He spent two years with Big Blue before moving on to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Titans are already being ravaged by injury, the secondary included. Guys like safety A.J. Moore and cornerback Elijah Molden are both on injured reserve, with Moore expected to miss the rest of the season.

Possibly adding to the pile are defensive backs Ugo Amadi, Lonnie Johnson and Chris Jackson, all of whom suffered injuries in Week 2.
