Report: Titans’ Rashad Weaver suffered broken fibula vs. Colts

Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Rashad Weaver reportedly suffered a broken right fibula during the Week 3 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.

The report comes from Titans beat writer Paul Kuharsky, who noted that the severity of the injury and exact timetable for Weaver’s recovery is still unknown.

Weaver, who was drafted in the fourth round of the 2021 NFL draft, played 17 snaps in Week 3, including 11 on defense, and tallied two tackles.

With the rookie out, the Titans now have four outside linebackers on their roster in Harold Landry, Ola Adeniyi, Bud Dupree and Derick Roberson.

Dupree was active in Week 3 but didn’t play a single snap, serving as an emergency-only option. Roberson was inactive on Sunday as he’s dealing with a knee issue.

The Titans are likely looking at at least one move at the position in the coming week, and perhaps more depending on the statuses of Dupree and Roberson. The Titans meet the New York Jets in Week 4.
