Report: Titans’ Isaiah Wilson received trespass warning at off-campus party

Tennessee Titans rookie offensive tackle Isaiah Wilson received a trespass warning after Tennessee State University police broke up an off-campus party he attended back on August 15.

According to Paul Kuharsky, who obtained a campus police incident report, Wilson considered jumping off a second-story balcony to avoid getting caught. Some TSU students at the party were hit with “drug, curfew and runaway violations.”

Isaiah Wilson attended a party at Tennessee State University off-campus apartments on Heiman Street that drew the attention of university police on Aug. 15, prompting Wilson to ponder jumping off a second-story balcony, according to a campus police incident report.

What isn’t clear is how many people were at the gathering. That’s important because if it were 15 or more, Wilson will have violated one of NFL’s COVID-19 protocols and could face punishment.

“We’re aware of the situation at TSU during a no-visitors policy and continue to stress the importance of good decision making as we go outside the facility,” head coach Mike Vrabel said.

General manager Jon Robinson noted that the team “handled it internally” with Wilson, who has not commented on the situation yet.

A second person at the party identified themselves as a Titans draft pick, although it isn’t known exactly who it was.

The agent for running back and third-round pick, Darrynton Evans, denied it was him, per Kuharsky’s report, and Justin Melo of Draft Wire is reporting that representation for defensive lineman and fifth-round pick, Larrell Murchison, said he was not there, either.
