Report: Titans get 3 more positive COVID-19 test results

The Tennessee Titans’ COVID-19 outbreak continues to spread, as one more player and two more personnel members tested positive for the virus, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This brings the total number of infected people in the organization this week to 16, with eight players and eight personnel members having tested positive. Just yesterday, Tennessee added two more players and have added at least one to the list on each day since Tuesday.

The seven previous players who have reportedly tested positive during this outbreak are as follows: defensive lineman DaQuan Jones, long snapper Beau Brinkley, practice squad tight end Tommy Hudson, outside linebacker Kamalei Correa, cornerback Kristian Fulton and wide receivers Adam Humphries and Cameron Batson (practice squad).

Despite playing the Titans in Week 3, the Minnesota Vikings have not had a single positive test result as of Saturday and will play their Week 4 contest against the Houston Texans, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

The goal was for Tennessee to get back into its facility by Monday or Tuesday, however that’s now looking unlikely with the team coming up with more and more positive tests on a daily basis.

The Titans’ Week 4 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers has already been postponed and moved to Week 7, but now we have to really start considering that their Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills is in danger, also.
