Report: Titans’ Bud Dupree considered day-to-day with abdominal injury

Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Bud Dupree played just one snap before leaving the Week 10 game against the New Orleans Saints early with an abdominal injury.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Dupree is considered day-to-day but is set to undergo testing to figure out the severity of his injury. Fowler notes it is possible Dupree misses some time, but there is no current timetable for him.

When asked about Dupree’s ailment on Tuesday, Titans outside linebackers coach Ryan Crow didn’t provide an update, instead deferring to head coach Mike Vrabel, who we know won’t be giving any kind of update.

This is a new injury for the 28-year-old. He had previously missed three games earlier in the season after experiencing a setback in his surgically-repaired knee. He did appear in the last four games before exiting early Sunday.

The 28-year-old has had a less than ideal start to his Titans tenure after signing a five-year, $82.5 million contract. On top of his missing games, Dupree has tallied just one sack in the seven games he has suited up for, which came in Week 7 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

We’ll get a better idea of where Dupree stands based on his practice participation on Wednesday.
