Report: Titans’ Adoree’ Jackson could be out 2 to 4 more weeks

Tennessee Titans cornerback Adoree’ Jackson will be eligible to come off of injured reserve after the Week 3 contest against the Minnesota Vikings, but it appears he won’t be ready to do so.

According to Terry McCormick of Titan Insider, Jackson, who is dealing with a knee injury suffered prior to the start of the season and was placed on IR on September 14, could miss two to four more weeks.

Starting cornerback Adoree’ Jackson remains on injured reserve and would be eligible to return next week against Pittsburgh, but according to a source, could be out up to another two to four weeks with the knee injury he suffered just before the season opener.

This would be a big blow to a Titans defense that desperately misses its No. 1 corner.

Tennessee’s secondary was absolutely shredded in Week 2 by Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, Gardner Minshew, which was a stark reminder of how much Jackson is needed.

To make matters worse, multiple Titans corners are on the injury report this week. Malcolm Butler (quad), Chris Jackson (hamstring) and Johnathan Joseph (calf/illness) are also dealing with issues.

The Titans have been able to weather the storm without Jackson en route to two victories to start the season, but it remains to be seen how much longer they’ll be able to do that before it catches up to them.
