Report: The Redskins are listening to offers for LT Trent Williams

A new report shows that the Washington Redskins are now open to trading Trent Williams, the star left tackle who has been holding out for the entire season thus far while asking to be traded.

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Redskins are now listening to offers from other teams, and the Cleveland Browns are one of the most notable potential suitors. Rapoport says that Washington has not made it clear how high of a price they are asking for, but they are at least entertaining the idea that Williams could be traded by Tuesday’s trade deadline.

With a 1-7 record, it would be wise for Washington to try and leverage their top talent into as many young assets and draft picks as they can before the deadline on Tuesday, so look for more trade rumors to arise throughout the rest of Monday, and into Tuesday.
