Report: Texans to sign cornerback Bradley Roby from Broncos

The Houston Texans continue to address their secondary during the two-day legal tampering window before NFL free agency.

According to James Palmer of NFL Network, the Texans intend to sign former 2014 Denver Broncos first-round pick when the free agency period opens up at 3:00 p.m. Central Time on March 13.

Roby has appeared in 79 games for the Broncos in his tenure, starting in 29 of them and collecting 238 combined tackles, seven interceptions, two returned for touchdowns, 60 pass breakups, seven forced fumbles, and four fumble recoveries, one returned for a touchdown. Roby has also managed to produce 3.0 sacks and eight tackles for loss.

At age 26, the Texans get younger in the secondary. Defensive back Kareem Jackson, who intends to sign with the Broncos, will be 31 years old come Week 1.
