Report: Texans LT Laremy Tunsil could miss the Titans finale with ankle sprain

The Houston Texans may have to play backup tackles when they take on the Tennessee Titans Sunday afternoon in Week 17 at NRG Stadium.

In the 37-31 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 16, left tackle Laremy Tunsil left the game with a foot injury.

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the foot injury has been revealed: a high ankle sprain, and it could keep him out of the finale against the Titans on Jan. 3.

After the game, interim coach Romeo Crennel did not provide any updates on Tunsil’s status.

The Texans were already down starting right tackle Tytus Howard, and Roderick Johnson took his place. When Tunsil left the game, Johnson slid over to left tackle and rookie fourth-round pick Charlie Heck took right tackle.
