Report: Texans CB Johnathan Joseph to miss Week 6 versus the Chiefs

The Houston Texans will be without one of their key members of the secondary as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs for Week 6 at Arrowhead Stadium.

According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, cornerback Johnathan Joseph will not be playing as he suffered a hamstring injury on Friday. On the injury report for Friday, Joseph, who had not been on it all week, was listed as limited with a hamstring and was given a questionable designation.

Rookie cornerback Xavier Crawford could be activated against the Chiefs. The Texans have Lonnie Johnson listed as Joseph’s backup. Cornerback Bradley Roby mans the opposite side, but he slides into the slot in nickel situations. If that happens, Keion Crossen is expected to fill in at that spot.
