The Chargers gave permission on Sunday to Melvin Gordon and his representatives to seek a trade.
Two days have gone by, and there’s now one team that is showing early interest in acquiring the 26-year-old running back, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.
The team remains an unknown, but Anderson said that they have been in “preliminary communication” with Los Angeles.
Teams that could be showing interest include the Ravens, Packers, 49ers, Titans and Buccaneers.
Gordon is seeking $13 million, but the Chargers are only willing to dish out roughly $10 million annually. General manager Tom Telesco told Gordon and his camp that a contract extension would not be discussed until the end of the 2019 season.
