Report: Sydney Brown to start at safety vs. Dolphins with Reed Blankenship ruled out

The Eagles secondary has battled injuries through the first six weeks of the season, and they’ll face the NFL’s most explosive offense without starter Reed Blankenship and slot cornerback Bradley Roby.

Derrick Gunn is reporting that Blankenship will miss Sunday night’s matchup with a rib injury, while Roby suffered a shoulder injury in the loss to the Jets.

Philadelphia hopes to have defensive tackle Jalen Carter back.

At the same time, Sydney Brown will look to make his first NFL start and significant game action after missing three games with a hamstring injury.
