Curry has been out since Feb. 4 due to a lower leg injury. The reigning NBA Finals Most Valuable Player suffered partial ligament tears in his lower leg along with a leg contusion against the Dallas Mavericks.

Curry has been participating in individual shooting work along with practices and scrimmaging. On Wednesday, the Warriors announced Curry was making good progress and increasing his on-court workload.

Over 38 games in the 2022-23 season, Curry is averaging 29.4 points on 49.5% shooting from the floor and 42.7% from deep to go along with 6.4 assists and 6.3 boards in 34.6 minutes per contest.

The Warriors are slated to meet the Lakers in Hollywood on Sunday for a matinee at 12:30 p.m. PT.
