Report: Steelers potentially shipping Antonio Brown out of AFC North to Bills

The biggest chess piece in the AFC North has finally moved.

According to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers are shipping Antonio Brown to the Buffalo Bills:

So no, it doesn’t sound like the Cincinnati Bengals will have to put up with Brown on the Steelers for much longer.

And so ends an odd saga between one of the game’s best receivers and the Steelers, which coincidentally happened to involve the Bengals. Brown took issue with something and didn’t play in Week 17 against the Bengals despite the Steelers still in playoff contention.

From there, Brown seemingly did everything possible to tank his trade value.

Brown forced his way out and now will have to catch passes from sophomore Josh Allen while wading through one of the league’s biggest rebuilds.

The Bengals play Brown and the Bills on the road next season.
