Report: Steelers looking at expanding offenisve coaching staff

According to a report by Sports Illustrated, the Pittsburgh Steelers might be looking to finally expand their offensive coaching staff. The Steelers are known for having one of, if not the smallest coaching staff in the NFL and this has always been puzzling given the complexity of the NFL.

But it seems the addition of new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith might be the beginning of bigger and better things across the board for the Pittsburgh offense.

According to the report, the Steelers are planning to interview Los Angeles Chargers passing game specialist Tom Arth, Tennessee Titans quarterbacks coach/passing game coordinator Charles London and New York Jets wide receivers coach Zach Azzani.

Arth is the most interesting name on this list. He did some impressive work with Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles passing offense. London makes sense with his connection to Smith having been an assistant with the Titans and Atlanta Falcons.

These interviews could have a connection to quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan who is likely on his way out.
