Report: Steelers legend Troy Polamalu cleared to attend HOF induction

According to NFL reporter Howard Balzer, former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has been cleared from quarantine and will be allowed to attend his enshrinement into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Polamalu announced a week ago that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and his availability was in question. Polamalu is technically part of the 2020 HOF class but enshrinement was postponed last year due to the pandemic. Polamalu will join fellow Steelers Bill Cowher and Donnie Shell in the 2020 class. Another former Steeler, Alan Faneca will be inducted the next day as part of the 2021 class.
