Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Melvin Ingram III did not travel with the team to Cleveland, per ESPN reporter Kimberley A. Martin.
Ingram is among the Steelers inactives this week as he’s dealing with a supposed groin injury.
Ingram staying back in Pittsburgh rather than traveling with his team and being supportive from the sideline is most interesting considering all the trade talk.
Buzz surrounding Ingram has been intense this week, as he’s been vocal about wanting a trade from Pittsburgh. Though Ingram was signed for depth, he’s unhappy about his reduced role.
It sounds like the Steelers will grant Ingram his wish, but we may not know for certain until Monday or Tuesday.
