Report: Shaun Livingston agrees to three-year, $24 million deal with Warriors

The Warriors locked in their star point guard, Stephen Curry, to the biggest contract in NBA history. Then they signed their backup point guard to reasonable deal soon after.

Shaun Livingston has agreed to a three-year, $24 million deal to return to the Warriors, according to a report by ESPN's Chris Haynes.

This is a nice yearly number for Livingston _ the largest contract of his 13-year career, which was once derailed by a crippling knee injury _ and a safe bet for the Warriors, who are comfortable with Livingston as a sturdy piece of their second-unit now and into the near future.

An important piece of the Livingston contract: The final year of his deal includes only $2 of the $8 million guaranteed, meaning, if they so choose, the Warriors can release him before the deadline and clear $6 extra million right before Klay Thompson's free agency arrives.
