Rams coach Sean McVay’s home in L.A. was burglarized on Thursday night, according to a report from TMZ. The thieves, reportedly three men wearing hoodies, gloves and bandanas, broke into the house by smashing the backdoor.
According to law enforcement officials, $20,000 in jewelry and purses was stolen. At the time of the break-in, no one was home. Additionally, damage was done to the house, though it’s not yet known to what extent.
McVay’s security system alerted the police but the suspects were already gone when officers arrived on scene.
Last year, Robert Woods’ home was broken into during the Rams’ win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 27. It was part of a string of burglaries in the L.A. area as several celebrities’ homes were broken into.
