Report: Saints RB Alvin Kamara will miss game vs. Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are expected to be without their starting running back in David Johnson when they take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. The Saints will also be without their starting running back.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Saints running back Alvin Kamara will not play against the Cardinals.

Kamara is dealing with both ankle and knee injuries. He missed the Saints’ game last week against the Chicago Bears.

So while the Cardinals will lean on Chase Edmonds, the Saints will lean on Latavius Murray. He had 27 carries for 119 yards and two touchdowns, as well as five receptions for 31 yards in Week 7 in the Saints’ 36-25 win over the Bears.

Kamara has rushed for 373 yards and one touchdown this season and has caught 33 passes for 276 yards and a touchdown.
