Report: Ronda Rousey broke her hand in the main event of WrestleMania 35

The main event of WrestleMania 35 left many people scratching their heads, as what appeared to be a botched pin resulted in an unsatisfying end to the match between Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair.

There’s also news that broke after the match: An injury occurred during the fight, though it’s unclear if that in any way affected the outcome.

According to a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, the ending of the Rousey-Flair-Lynch match went down the way it was supposed to, but also had some other news: Rousey broke her hand in the fight.

From Wrestling Observer Radio:

”I have some news. Ronda has a broken hand, a severely broken hand. She just was diagnosed with it.”

Meltzer also said that this was scheduled to be her last match, and with the injury, that all but confirms she will take some time away, with no timetable for her return.
