Report reveals date for Nottingham Forest transfer decision on Kamil Grosicki

Nottingham Forest could have to wait until Thursday to find out whether Kamil Grosicki is their player, following an arbitration hearing.

A deal was agreed for the West Bromwich Albion winger to join the Reds on domestic deadline day, on October 16.

However, a dispute about whether the paperwork was submitted in time has left Grosicki’s move in the balance.

According to the Telegraph, a hearing was held today, with a “decision expected by Thursday morning”.

By then, it will be almost two weeks since Forest felt they had clinched the Poland international’s signature.

Boss Chris Hughton has consistently stated he is hopeful of the transfer going through.

He told NottinghamshireLive in his pre-match press conference on Tuesday afternoon: “As manager, I’m very much hoping it (a decision) is going to be soon.

“I can only pass on the information I’ve been given, and that is that it’s still very much in the hands of the club and the Football League.

“But let’s hope there’s a decision as soon as possible.

“It’s something we all want to happen, and happen as quickly as possible.

“Let’s hope it’s soon.”
