The Washington Redskins are one of the many visits on deck for Washington offensive lineman Kaleb McGary.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, McGary will visit with the Redskins Friday after making the rounds with plenty of other teams.
McGary, 6’7″ and 317 pounds, played right tackle in college but could end up at guard in the pros. At worst, he’s looking like a prospect with second-round stock after a solid path to the draft.
The Redskins would obviously like to have as much competition at left guard as possible after a rotating cast of names had up-and-down play there over the years.
Rookie depth for the long term wouldn’t hurt either and McGary is clearly intriguing teams with his upside.
