Report: Redskins to host Missouri QB Drew Lock on visit

The Washington Redskins once again have a connection to Missouri quarterback Drew Lock.

This time Jay Gruden and the Redskins will host Lock on a pre-draft visit soon, according to a report from Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. The report also notes Lock will visit with the New York Giants.

Back in mid-March, it was reported Lock would have a meet with Washington. A mock draft also had the Redskins trading up to get Lock.

Lock is one of several first-round candidates for the Redskins. He threw for 28 scores a season ago and has had a strong pre-draft process so far.

The Redskins have plenty of options, which could include a trade up if a player like Dwayne Haskins starts to fall. But Lock could be there at No. 15, so if these meets are going well behind the scenes, a Lock-Redskins connection might come to fruition.
