Report: Redskins sign OT Ereck Flowers

It’s a prove-it deal for Ereck Flowers with the Washington Redskins.

Flowers visited the Redskins on Sunday night as the team looked for depth behind their starters on the edges.

Clearly, it didn’t take too long for a deal to come together.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Flowers gets a one-year deal worth $4 million.

The ninth overall pick in 2015 heads to his third team in his young career and will look to learn behind Trent Williams while serving as an insurance policy. That said, this is the type of low-risk move that won’t necessarily stop the Redskins from addressing the position on draft day.

For the Redskins, the string of bringing aboard former New York Giants continues after the massive Landon Collins deal.
