Report: Redskins ‘doing their homework’ on cost to move into top 10

Smokescreen or not, rumors continue to link the Washington Redskins to a trade up in the 2019 NFL draft.

The day before the draft, rumors suggested the Redskins wanted to move into the top five. The idea Dan Snyder and Bruce Allen are now running the show isn’t uncommon.

The day of the draft, meaning today, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport has reported the Redskins are still sniffing around the idea of a move up into the top 10 — for a quarterback, of course.

Said quarterback could be Dwayne Haskins, who the Redskins supposedly like.

But some outright aren’t buying the idea of a trade up:

It’s hard to say what is real for any team at this point. But the Redskins are one of the most volatile members of the draft this year because everyone knows they are willing to gamble it all in Robert Griffin-type fashion.

If the Redskins do end up shccking the world, it probably won’t happen until the draft gets started.
