Report: Redskins continued tour of OL by hosting Washington State’s Andre Dillard

Clearly, Jay Gruden and the Washington Redskins have put an emphasis on the offensive line this offseason as the draft approaches.

According to a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Andre Dillard out of Washington State is the latest offensive lineman to visit the Redskins.

Dillard is a better prospect than most the Redskins have rubbed shoulders with lately. He’s 6’5″ and 315 pounds with plenty of collegiate experience and capable of starting right away inside but with potential to someday play left tackle.

Written another way, Dillard is an ideal pick at say, No. 15.

Unlike some of the prospects the Redskins have met with lately, Dillard would ask the team to use a first-round pick and ignore other areas. Whether they view that as worthwhile with only a guard spot as the biggest red flag right now is hard to say.

Dillard joins Boston College’s Chris LindstromAlabama State’s Tytus Howard and North Carolina-Charlotte’s Nate Davis as recent line prospects who have visited with the Redskins.
