Report: Ravens expected to sign former AAF CB Terrell Bonds

The Baltimore Ravens aren’t done with their roster yet. With rookie minicamp wrapped up and OTAs coming up, the Ravens are still signing players to their 90-man roster to create the best team possible. And they’re looking everywhere for talent, including the now-defunct AAF.

According to Ian Rapoport, Baltimore is expected to sign former Memphis Express cornerback Terrell Bonds.

Bonds is a smaller cornerback, standing at just 5-foot-9 and 176 pounds. The former Tennessee State player joined the Express in the AAF’s lone season, where he registered 14 total tackles and five passes defensed in eight games. In four years at Tennessee State, Bonds had 96 tackles and 10 interceptions.

The Ravens love adding young talent ahead of training camp and seeing which players step up. Baltimore has had great luck in previous seasons finding diamonds in the rough. Apparently, at the Ravens’ rookie minicamps, Bonds impressed enough to earn himself a deal as at least a camp body.
