The surprising cuts by the Los Angeles Rams have begun. According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, the Rams are cutting rookie linebacker Dakota Allen.
He was a seventh-round pick this year out of Texas Tech.
The Rams announced their final roster cuts, confirming the news of Allen’s release.
This move comes as a shock considering how well Allen played in the preseason, especially for a late-round pick. Allen was a star on the hit series “Last Chance U” when he played for East Mississippi Community College.
