Report: Raiders to suspend WR Antonio Brown

With the Raiders set to take on the Broncos in just a few days, the team was hoping for a peaceful week of practice. Unfortunately, that isn’t going to happen as the latest news out of Oakland is that the Raiders are going to suspend Antonio Brown, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

On Wednesday, Brown posted a photo of a fine sent by general manager Mike Mayock for missing a walkthrough. Brown was displeased by Oakland’s front office, and that trickled over to practice, where things got heated.

While a suspension isn’t official yet, it would force him to miss Monday night’s game against the Broncos. If Brown is suspended, his $30 million in guaranteed money would be voided, making it possible for the Raiders to cut or trade Brown.

This is a developing story. We will update this post as we get more information.
