Report: Raiders to host former Vikings S George Iloka

Safety George Iloka didn’t make much of an impact with the Vikings in 2018. Maybe that’ll change if he joins the Raiders for the 2019 season.

Per Ian Rapoport, the Raiders are hosting Iloka on a visit.

Iloka, 28, appeared in 16 games, starting three, for the Vikings in 2018 after the Bengals cut him right before the season.

It’s tricky to dissect Iloka’s time with the Vikings. It was clear from the beginning that he wasn’t caught up to speed and ultimately, Anthony Harris ended up being the logical choice to replace the injured Andrew Sendejo over Iloka.

We’ll see if Iloka gets a deal done in Oakland.
