The Oakland Raiders aren’t afraid to turn over every stone to find pass-rush help. They are and will look at every player, even if they come from a smaller school.
On Wednesday, the team is hosting defensive end Derick Roberson from Sam Houston State. Roberson initially went to Texas before transferring to Sam Houston State, where he had 15 sacks in 2018.
The Raiders are familiar with the Sam Houston State program as their second-round pick from 2018, P.J. Hall came from the same school. Roberson isn’t nearly the same caliber of prospect, but he could be a target for the Raiders on the third day of the draft.
