Raiders expected to sign OT Trent Brown to 4-year deal

The Oakland Raiders are on the board! According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Oakland Raiders are expected to sign offensive tackle Trent Brown to a four-year, $66 million dollar contract that has nearly $37 million in guarantees.

Brown is now the highest-paid offensive lineman in league history, and the belief is that he will play left tackle for the Raiders. That means 2018 first-round pick Kolton Miller will slide to the right side with Brandon Parker heading into a reserve role.

In 2018, Brown finished the season as Pro Football Focus’ 30th-ranked tackle. While he had somewhat of a “down year” in New England, his potential is through the roof. At just 25-years old, this is a brilliant signing for the Raiders.
