According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowkski, the Pelicans agreed to trade Anthony Davis to the Lakers for Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart, and three first-round picks, including the No. 4 overall pick this year.
Monster haul for David Griffin and the Pelicans. They maximized the AD trade without needing a third team. History of Griffin deals typically include strong pick protections, which could made trade even better. And now, LeBron gets his second star in LA. Here we go. https://t.co/Yf6cjlhvv4

The deal is a monster haul for the Pelicans and David Griffin, their new executive vice president of basketball operations, who maximized his return without needing to include a third team.
The Celtics had been engaged in talks with the Pelicans for Davis, sources told Wojnarowski this week, and the Nets and Clippers had interest as well but were unable to gain traction.
The deal can’t be finalized until July 1.
