Report: Patriots signing Brandon King to two-year extension

The New England Patriots are signing core special teamer Brandon King to a two-year extension, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

King was drafted by the Patriots in 2015 and has been pivotal in the their special teams success. He hasn’t been on the field for one defensive snap in his entire career, but has been incredible in his role.

Brandon King made 12 total special teams tackles last season without missing a single attempt.

He joins Matthew Slater and Nate Ebner as the only trio of teammates with top-20 special teams grades a season ago.
