Report: Packers will go to Dallas to play Cowboys in Week 5

The Green Bay Packers will go to Dallas to play the Cowboys in Week 5 of the 2019 season, according to Pete Dougherty of PackersNews.com.

The game is scheduled for Oct. 6 and is expected to be one of the late afternoon games on that Sunday.

The Packers have won seven of the last eight games against the Cowboys, including three straight games in Dallas. The last time the Packers beat the Cowboys in Dallas, Aaron Rodgers threw a game-winning touchdown pass to Davante Adams in the final seconds of the comeback win.

The Cowboys went 10-6 and won the NFC East last season. They won eight of their nine games at home, including a playoff win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Jason Garrett’s Cowboys are led by quarterback Dak Prescott, running back Ezekiel Elliott, receiver Amari Cooper and a defense that ranked sixth in scoring average last season.

The Packers haven’t lost in Dallas since 2007.
