REPORT: OL Oday Aboushi to sign with Detroit Lions

The Arizona Cardinals are seeing another of their free agents sign elsewhere. one of their own free agents they hoped to retain, offensive lineman Oday Aboushi, is headed to the Detroit Lions.

The report comes from NFL Network’s Mike Garofolo, who says Aboushi intends on signing a one-year deal worth up to $2 million.

Aboushi has bounced around the league, now on his fifth team in seven seasons.

Aboushi was signed midseason and ended up starting six of the team’s final eight games, including the final five.

He was solid at right guard, replacing Justin Pugh, who landed on injured reserve.

That now makes three former Cardinals to land elsewhere. Deone Bucannon will join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Antoine Bethea is joining the New York Giants and now Aboushi is headed for Detroit.
